ACADEMIC ADVISING
Don't hesitate to reach out!
The Academic Support Centre (ASC) aims to:
- Ensure that each student has a well-rounded academic experience;
- Advise and assist students with their program and course choices and make changes to schedules, as needed;
- Help students understand the impacts of dropping a course (or college altogether) or how changing their program might affect their academic career;
- Help targeted students identify the causes and risks of failing and recommend strategies to improve their work methods, time management skills, motivation, research methods, etc;
- Review students’ academic records for admission;
- Review course substitution, equivalence, and exemption cases;
- Send written authorization on student's behalf to complete required courses in another college;
- Examine academic profiles to issue diplomas;
